This month we welcome Caleb Stone who is a noted oil and watercolor painter.
Caleb was born in the artist’s colony of Rockport where he began drawing at age
four and exposed to en plein air painting by his father noted artist Don Stone and his associates by age
seven.His attraction to French and American impressionism and choice of
career was influenced and nurtured by this early experience.His art education
at LymeAcademy of Fine Arts in Connecticut led to acquiring the position of Artist in residence at Juniper Hill Inn in Windsor, Vermont after graduation.Since then Caleb’s career as landscape and marine painter has expanded to include representation
in major local and national galleries, teaching weekly classes at his studio in Ipswich and conducting group en plein air workshops up and

Society & Museum “Historic Interpretation Exhibit” Call to Artists has had an overwhelming response.Over 100 artists will be entering their works of art in this show in June.
In the Gallery – A special exhibit of paintings titled “The Life and
